Just off Stadium Boulevard, 1/8 mile south on Rock Quarry Road, on the MKT trail next to the Capen Park mulch site. Adjacent to one of Columbia’s landmark steel bridges on the Hinkson Creek, the garden is at the intersection of Capen Park, Grindstone Nature Area, and, Hinkson Creek Nature Preserve.

Directions:
Stadium Blvd. to Rock Quarry Road.
South on Rock Quarry Rd. 1/8 mile.
Veer left onto Wilde Dr.; go straight into Capen Park parking lot.
Walk west on the MKT Trail (toward the stadium) and loop around city’s Capen Mulch site;
OR go directly to the city Capen Mulch site. Park.
Walk past the mulch drop-off to Capen Native Plant Garden on the far side of the mulch barrier.

One can traverse Columbia from Old Highway 63, past Capen Park and Capen Native Plant Garden, over the Hinkson Creek bridge, on past the University of Missouri playing fields behind Mizzou Arena, under Providence Road and connect with the MKT main trail to McBaine and the Missouri River.
